I've got kind of a different point of view about this. (That's not uncommon for me
) My BX24 does pretty much the same thing and I HATED it for a long time. However.......after using it that way for a while, I got used to it and even learned to like it! I'm forever having to move a pile of dirt or gravel from point A to B. After scooping up a load and backing up, "popping the reverse pedal back up" shifts the load farther back in the bucket and you don't lose as much of it on the way to point B. This lets you start backing up alot sooner (before the bucket is fully curled up) and saves a little time. As for the sudden stop when doing other tasks, I realized after while that I was automatically letting the pedal up slower without having to think about it. Just MHO.
