When my buddy Mark and I pulled several hundred posts, we used a strap and my loader.

I watched two. That was all the pain I could stand. Extremely slow and labor intensive. But cheap and it worked.....
Yes, a two man crew: one to run the loader the other to work the 4' rigging sling.
You must be moving hundreds if not thousands of posts a year to justify more expensive ways.

I use mine mostly on trees as well with a 99.99% chance I'll be doing it by myself. Each year there is a new crop of sumac invading all my trails and field edges.
It arrived, 6 days from order to delivery via ltl with lift gate. Very happy with speed of shipping. Going to be a week before i get to use it, tractor is getting rear remotes installed and i have to put pioneer couplers on the hoses instead of the flat face supplied. Looks great though, will post photos soon.

Danuser Intimdator has worked best for us. Either on the Kubota B26 or M59. The excavator teeth help with bigger trees or stumps. Costs more but does more. The upper guard helps handle the bigger stuff with protection. Sure has helped keeping the property maintenance up.
The biggest con is that you have to go thru distributors and can’t buy directly. Never worked so hard to give money to someone. Dan Danuser got involved and made the sale happen.
