posting problems

Still happening, did it on this one in the Attachments Forum: Typed a reply, clicked "Post Quick Reply", nothing happened. No error message. [Edit, didn't see the DB error]

Went to the Attachments forum, it didn't post. Came back to the reply and clicked "Go Advanced", typed the reply. previewed the post OK, clicked submit, got "Duplicate of previous post", transferred to the post, OK: http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/...stout-farm-wagon-post4747374.html#post4747374

From "Today's Posts", notice that it shows the green dot that I replied, but replies is 0.

Yeah, there was a crashed table that I repaired (and then checked the entire database afterwards.)

We'll have to run some more repairs to restore reply numbers, but that's a vBulletin thing, not a backend database thing. Hopefully the errors are past us now. But I'm still checking.

It also seems that the reply count gets fixed when someone replies! So that's good.

My Home / Subscribed Threads hasn't updated since yesterday.

But after I open a yesterday post I see there, then I can see the subsequent posts.

re 'Friendly Politics' forum. There are recent posts not shown via that 'recent posts' entry point.

'Search - Posts From Last Day' and 'My Home / Subscribed Threads' are my two principal means for entering TBN.

It was frustrating because I gave it a bit, nothing would show up. So I incremented the number, repeat. After 4 times nothing showed up. Then I came back later and all 4 showed up.

Still not quite there.

The index link to Unread Posts in a thread in 'Friendly Politics' goes repeatedly to the top of the final visible page rather than to this last post on the page. The link to unread posts in that thread never changes from bold (unread). A post on an additional page in that thread is indicated by the indexes but not accessible.
