Posts I have read not grayed out

The other day there was a fix to my question of posts from Front Page not showing when I click on New posts. That problem was fixed. The new problem is after the fix I would read a post then click the back button to return to other New posts and the post I just read was grayed out as shown in the attached screen shot. That feature only lasted one day. Now when I click the back button it brings me back to New posts but doesn't gray out the post I read. I have to hit reload at the top of the page then it grays out the read post. Its just an extra step for me but easier when back button did it for me. Can we get that feature back?

It's a browser thing. If you hit the back button, the browser probably doesn't refresh the page for you if it's still in the local memory, so TBN doesn't know that you're back on that page.
If you read a post and then hit the "my home" link, you'll get a refreshed page.

My home doesn't bring me back to unread New Posts. After the Boss fixed getting the Front Porch to show up in New Posts my back button automatically grayed out the read post. Not a big deal, its just another step I have to do (reload button) to mark it read. Maybe it's my browser (Firefox). Thanks for your input.

You're certain you've read the entire post, ie you've visited the end of the thread, before going back to New Posts?

Yes, As of this moment I'm the last to read and reply and when I click back button it does not go gray like I read it.

Your browser isn't actually refreshing that page, it's just loading it from memory. I usually just click new posts again which loads the new posts page again.

I do not use the back button.

I hold down "Ctrl" (control) and click the post, that opens it in a new tab.
After reading it hold down control and hit the W key. That wipes the tab and returns to New posts.
