Hi all
I'm usually up in the tractor section but now I have a problem with my zero turn mower.
When I take off the parking brake the engine stops. The brake must be on to start the mower. Is there a switch some place that could be bad?
This mower ran fine not long ago but I can't even move it now.
Thanks for any help.:confused3:

I have an engine kill switch on the brake system of the eXmark, if I have the e brake on and try to drive forward or reverse, it kills the engine

The seat also has to sense operator presence , so possibly a funky switch or some have an insert in the seat switch connector with a spring as an anti tamper feature that can create havoc. Should you need more help, post the chassis model / product number

:) Here is a follow up on my problem.

Finally got time to look at the mower and pretty much took it apart, checked wiring, switches, fuses etc., found no problems!
Put everything back together, works fine???????????????
I think it must have been a dirty contact in one of the switches, they all looked corroded which isn't unusual after 15+- years.
So tomorrow is grass cutting time if it doesn't rain. :cool2:
