Damm you guys, stop rubbing it in, now not only is it a very capable machine, but now its rare.. 1 out of 6 . Btw it is a 1997 model, I know because I called them with the serial number and they were able to tell me it was a 1997 model, which happens to be very similar 1460, however it has a lot more power. Also recommended not to add dual wheels because the wheel motors on it wouldn't be able to handle the added stress. Now I want to take out a loan :confused2:.

Exactly what I was thinking Ken.

But then again, we have 65HP and 1200 lbs of lift...

Yes, and I would rather not repeat that kind of lift/HP ratio. If a 1430 could use duals, it would be a better machine for what I do most.

I love my PT in spite of any short comings. My need for duals really does restrict my options on which one I have. An 1845 might use less fuel than the 1850 when just moving buckets of stuff around.

Wow thats quite a machine! I didn't know Power Trac made that big of a machine, I though the 1460 or 1850 was the king. Assuming its an Isuzu it would be liquid cooled right? That would be a sweet machine. They use Isuzus in Hitachi mini excavators I believe and other equipment, very reliable and powerful engines. I wonder what other Diesel engines PTs have used over the years. When I talked to them back in '09 they said they used a few different brands of Diesels before settling with the Deutz.

Man if I got a hold of that thing, I'd be tempted to put a 4 Banger Cummins in it
