Ditto. When I started my tractor buying journey I quickly learned there was only one tractor out there that was what it said it was, Kubota. So what if they cost more, cheap isn't always a practical option.
There aren't any other tractors out there that "was what it says it was..." ? What about TYM, LS, Yanmar, Kioti, Mahindra (some), Deere (some), etc..... ?

Yes, that's right. Kubota is always Kubota. Not just a cheap conglomeration of branded parts as some others have been.

LOL... All of those I mentioned make their own machines, just like Kubota.

It seems someone is forgetting (or is uninformed, as usual) that even Kubota hasn't made all of their own machines, historically speaking.

Bet they'll never admit that fact. :D

Hey man, how you been?

Your broken-record catch phrases always make me chuckle. Thanks for the laugh

But, and please correct me if I'm wrong... But I've read thru nearly every post you've written and I still don't recall EVER seeing you post the problems you had with your tractor and/or dealer. Any chance you could explain to us exactly what happened that soured the milk so? It could certainly help with adding some credibility to your statements, as well as help potential customers with future purchases.

Once again, and please correct me if I'm wrong (I'm not.), You cannot possibly be claiming that I have not had problems, one, two or dozens with either or both of my MF tractors simply because I have not posted about such here???

As I've told you before (search the MF archives), I tried to work with MF and their dealer (much longer than I should have) and avoided any criticism of either for years to avoid poisioning the relationships because I had a vested interest.

There comes a time, however, when one simply cannot tolerate such mistreatment and must burn bridges and move on. I waited about three years to long vis a vis MF/AGCO.

Hanging out the MF laundry here and now would take far too much time and effort and I have no intention of so doing. The issues are too numerous. You will continue to believe what you wish to believe (or are paid to believe?) and I couldn't care less.

Never again.

If you've burned the bridge then what do you stand to lose by actually explaining yourself? I can't claim or not claim that you had the alleged problems... YOU won't say what they were.

My buddy has had problems with every new Kubota he has bought... Doesn't mean yours will have problems too, but it also doesn't mean that it won't.

Did they just repo your tractors due to non payment or something, and you're not allowed to talk about it?

You've spent a lot of time here bashing MF/AGCO without posting the details. The last time I recall someone asking you what the issues were, you replied "the details are none of your business" or something close to that. You could have easily spelled out the basics of the problems in less time than you've spent repeatedly saying how badly you were treated by MF/AGCO. Heck, if you have pointed out ONE issue that was unresolved, much less the laundry list you say exists, people might believe you. I know I'd be very interested in hearing what happened, and I don't own a modern Massey, so I have no particular attachment.

People that bash a brand/dealer, without specifics, don't have much credibility here, or anywhere else.

TSO paid to believe? Sorry, there are multiple members here on TBN that know and have met TSO in person, and can vouch for him. You....well, not so much it seems. There is NO chance TSO gets paid by any tractor manufacturer.

You do, however, get bonus points for using "I couldn't care less" correctly

I would be curious to hear some of the highlights (or low points as the case seems to be) of your MFing experience. I have a mf 1742 which I am absolutely thrilled with. My father in law has a mf2680 and seems to be having many of the common problems with that series. It is nothing like my 1742. The fit and finish on my tactor are superior by far, the controls function flawlessly etc. He is a long time Massey owner currently with three of their tractors on the farm. He is less than pleased with his 2680. After 3 years the paint on the hood is now peeling off, the fel joy stick has something wrong with the linkage making it very difficult to use the loader with any precision, his air conditioning crapped the bed, and I think it needed some transmission work shortly after he took delivery.

If you could share with us some of the issues you had with your tractors it might shed some light on the subject and lend some valuable information to people who are shopping for a new tractor. It is clear from your posts that. You are unhappy with mf but we are all in the dark about what the issues were. Share wth is so that others may read of your experiences and judge for themselves if they are willing to do business with mf/agco or your dealer for that matter. I am curious to hear about your experience.

The HST+ with the hydraulic hi lo is a step up for box blade work imo. Kubota has it and Deere doesn't. That is one thing I would gladly pay extra for as it allows you to reverse at a faster speed and pull the box blade forward at the lower speed with more force.

Seems to me that the 3039r isn't really in the same class/category as the other two tractors you are considering, from a performance standpoint they are similar but the kubota is 600 lbs heavier and the Massey is 900 lbs heavier. I am sure others know better but shouldn't you be looking at a 4000 series tractor to be looking at apples to apples? When I was shopping I considered a 4044m.
