Price of meat almost doubled here...do you folks have a meat processor nearby?

Copper River Reds or Halibut. 21 miles for the Reds or 135 miles for the Halibut. Closest Trout fishing is about 3 miles away.

kings, Reds or silvers were what I liked, but I just plain got sick of eating salmon!

But, I caught a huge amount of Halibut too, and I still like to eat them! lol

Well i just got back from Costco today. Ribeye steaks, 3 large steaks per package $3.79/pound, limit 2 pkgs.

Good looking top sirloin 6 per package $3.29/lb, limit 2

Good prices as far as im concerned. Lots in cooler

When it comes to fin fish Halibut is in a class all it's own IMO...

In southern waters Snook (Robolo) is comparable in firmness, taste and texture...

I know what they use the fish for. I just find the machine fascinating.
