I used to work in Boston and parking was hard to find. Many times I would park even in spots that said no parking.
One day I pulled into a spot and read " DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT PARKING HERE" I backed out immediately. Some how the tone of the sign said the owner was very serious.

Try putting a sign that says "don't even think of turning around in this driveway"

It's worth a try.

I don't think anyone really has issues with someone turning around. It's those that come all the way down their drive snooping around and have no right to be there that are the problem.

You are right dcyrile. I, like probably most of you, have turned around using someone's driveway. It's when they keep going down a private drive or road that's the real issue.

Theres an old road that used to circle the place and cut back to another road. It was washed away in the middle. Some land owners are trying to get it cut off and gated so they can hunt. THeres some out of town land owners that have had to take out road blocks back there. I talked to the supervisor thats wanting to block it off. I like it open as the old washed out culvert makes a great place to get emergency water incase of a fire.

Also its a great place to rided or walk along. One end of the road was blocked already We cant do anything about it. It actually makes my shop safer from folks running the loop picking things up. My biggest concern is that water source and the fact when we were looking for an easement for a friends logging company we found that the county actually gets paid taxes for this road. With out it we also would get our grant for a new grader or TLB every few years. I wouldnt really care if they closed it off, but as long as we dont pay taxes on it. Ive wheel measured the road 5 times and it comes out the same as we are taxed for.

I wouldn't mind having a couple of those mounted on my camera poles.:laughing: Hate to see what it takes to get a license for them though... or what the price is.
