Okay. I have to share.

We bought the 6 acre property in 2003, moved a mobile onto it and built a shop. Once our previous house sold (we rented it out in the interim) we began construction on 12/23/05. It started raining that day, and continued for 100 days.

I don't wanna hear no more complaining about "it's so dry here"

Our property is mostly wooded with a ridge running through it. We love it here and it the ground is really nice - not a rock in it except the ones I've brought here.

That's quite an average! A typical suburb here averages 0.1 acres. Thank goodness I no longer live in a typical suburb.

Here are a few pictures of my barn project.
The first one is the first wall going up.
The second is raising a gable end truss with a homemade hoist and tractor.
The last is the barn ready to be roofed.
