PTO Chipper again probably

Looks stored inside. 99% painted.

How can the WoodMaxx or Jimna Chipper be about 1/2 the price of the Frontier Chipper?

I would take your time doing the research when buying attachments. After doing your homework - you can make an educated decision. In any event - here are some pictures of the WoodMaxx Chippers, I would say price wise they are in the same range as Jinma and Liberty - but I would question the statement that this is just another "canned" machine that's imported.

The biggest problem is the "unknown" factor of will these Chinese companies be around for parts/service?

Becasue this is a hydo pump one does it run at a lower pto speed?Probably dependant on the size of wood, and speed of feed but Im thinking it might be able to run slower engine rpm and slow wfeed speed.

The WoodMaxx WM-8H (Hydraulic Auto-Feed Chipper) still operates at 540 RPM, but with the built in hydraulic tank and pump, allows the operator to control the speed of the feed rollers from 0-28 ft/min while maintaining the constant flow of power. Also, this model allows the feed rollers to move un forward & reverse, so if you have material that gets caught up on the feed bin (ie. side branches), you can just reverse the feed rollers and then run the material right back through.
