I'll be waiting to hear about the differences/improvements over the 2210. Keep me updated.

One of the things I don't like about the 2305 is ground clearance. There really isn't any with the mmm on and have to jack up the tractor to get the mmm out. Not a big deal for me, but sometimes I would just like to drop the mower anywhere and I can't do that. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I thought the new JD belly mowers had drive-over mounting. Instead of sliding them out the side, you just drive the front wheels over the deck. The deck has some little ramps added to it to help with this and is reinforced to not get crushed by the weight of the machine.

That should allow the deck to be dropped or re-mounted almost anywhere, even in the grass or dirt without a hard surface.

While building my house, I learned not to schedule vacation days to work on the house until I had all the materials and tools on-site, ready to go for the planned project. You can burn days in a hurry chasing stuff like this down.

That's interesting, on my 2210/62C, I can remove the deck without "jacking" it up. The gearbox gets real close to the lift arms, but as long as you are on a flat surface, it clears. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I just finished having a log home built. As Kenny said I found the best bet was to wait for materials to be onsite then take the time off. Not everyone has the flexibility to do that I know.

X475, In your position, I think you will be far happier with the change given the vast majority of your work is loader/3-point related with mowing being rather small. There is no question, the machine is overall nicer in features. I'm looking forward to some pics like everyone and your assessment of the ground engagement work this week. GO HAVE SOME FUN.

I am also glad to hear that the dealer is coming to the plate and taking care of the radiator issue. Especially since it is your vacation that is getting eaten up with no progress on your project.

The reason I bought the 2305 over the BX2230 was my experience with the dealer in regards to the LT180 Lawn Tractor. They were always ready to answer my questions.

Fun...you can count on it. I had to come in early this morning so I am cutting out of here at 3:00. First order of business will be to take pictures before I get it all dirty and scratch the bucket up......lots of rocks so the bucket scratching is a fact of life for me.

2305 arrived back this morning at 9:00. Brian in service took care of it. They had to replace the fan too. Bent 1 of the plastic blades.

Rained all day today of course.

X475 be careful not to scratch that new unit.
Hope it goes smoother for you than mine has so far.
