Back in business.

Put 4 hours on my 2305 today. It's working great. I'm very careful on the rough stuff now.

Great news RVtech. There always seems to be bugs to work out in new models just sorry you lost some time with your new tractor. I am sure you will find you have bought a very capable tractor. My 2210 was a work horse. I need to find my before and after shots of my 5 acres. The contractor only dug the hole for the walkout and did the back fill. I did all the final grading with mine. I put in two gravel driveway (one 350 feet and one 300 feet). Built up a pad for the polebarn. Put in parking area of 50 by 100 feet and one by the cabin of 50 by 75. Bushhogged the lower 2 acres for a foot plot for deer and had to remove about 1 acre of mulitrose bushes from it. The tooth bar and bush hog did it all. I moved tons of rock and piled them near the pole barn to be used later for landscaping and building a rock retaining wall on one end of the cabin. Like I posted in another thread I had near 380 hours when I traded it last week and I would say 330 hours of the was loader, tiller, subsoiler and disking work.

Hope you get you backhoe soon.

Bob

So far I think just adjustments to move the radiator as far forward as possible. I don't think anything was gained. I'm waiting for some kind of a kit, possibly a brace to limit radiator movement. I'll be taking it easy until that is taken care of.

I called Jason L's dealer. They have a 2305 with a BH6000 installed. The salesman said they used a 2210 install kit and that it is the same. ??????
I'm missing something. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
He confirmed a 200CX loader as well. There is no way the front bracket will fit. The side plates will not clear the loader lines either. I'm sure the lines could be bent to clear, but I don't want to do that if the correct brackets will clear. Woods told me the front and side brackets will be changed.

FYI--if the loader is on when you are installing/removing the mower deck, you can use it to jack up the front end a little and slide the mower deck under. I've gotten in the habit of just taking the bucket off of the loader for better visibilty when mowing--just so I can use the loader to make the transition easier.

Called Woods again after talking to Jason L's dealer. Woods said that dealer supplied the 2305 for bracket fitting. They were given a finished set of brackets for that 2305 plus 1 extra set for another. The manufactured brackets are still not available. There is now a part number, but it is not in their system yet. They still cannot give me a target time. They said at least 2 more weeks.

Would the other dealer be willing to give you his spare set knowing the first set from Woods would go to him? I think Woods would agree that its the smart thing to do, And I don't think that dealer will be selling another that quick being he already has 1 in stock? They don't sell many backhoes this time of year in my area I'm not sure about yours?
Just food for thought.

Glad to hear you are back in business. I called my dealer and they included the bulletin in my reply email that John Deere issued on the radiator adjustments and hood adjustment. Apparently the hood can force the radiator into the fan if the latch is out of adjustment. Again, glad to see the dealer took care of it for you.

The beast is in!! My 2305 will be delivered on Friday (Oct 28). I will definitely watch out for the bumps in the road.
