Ok while looking at tractors I have found some with all of the options I want except a fel loader. Im looking for either a M9000 or M8200 with the following, cab 4wd, at least two rear remotes, and a fel. So my question is if I get a tractor with everything except the fel how hard is it to put a fel on, is there anything that the tractor needs to have that it may lack since it doesn't have a fel already, and How expensive is all of the stuff to install besides the loader itself. Any help would be appreciated, I'm just trying to see how much money I would need to save on the tractor to make up the difference I'm going to have to pay to get a loader and install it.

3 years ago when I bought a comparable sized JD, I think the loader package was a 7k charge. That included the installation though. The brackets wouldn't be terrible getting them lined up, but I think getting the fasteners tightened correctly could be challenging depending on their locations/sizes.

yes you can have the loader installed on that tractor from the dealer.but i dont know what it will cost.

I think my question may not have been clear. My questions are this:
If I buy a tractor without a fel its there any thing such as valves or a certain hydraulic pump that is required for the fel that would be to cost prohibitive if the tractor did not already have them. As well what is an estimate on installing the joystick controls and such other than the loader itself, that I would need in order to install a loader my self

I would think that if there are already remotes (QD's and a valve) on the machine you can plumb the loader valve off the remote's valve PB port and "t" into the return...or reverse the series and plumb the loader first and then from the loader PB to the remotes...depending on the logistics of routing lines/hoses etc...

Again not sure but it's possible that when installing the sub frame for the loader some things may have to be moved/adjusted ?
I know some (or maybe most?) cab tractors use cable controlled joysticks...

Joy stick controls normally run between 1,000 and 1500. One problem might be is to get the power beyond port pieces to use the joystick vs running it off a rear remote. It is always cheaper to buy a used tractor with the loader then to add one later!!!!

Agreed - the major options like FEL, Cab and Backhoe are always easier to acquire as a package. The whole-goods catalog price for a FEL kit for your cab tractor has everything needed, including all brackets, the valve, joystick, cables, QD's and nice instructions. Kub plans things very well so the tractor doesn't need to be "re assembled" to accommodate a loader. You could likely install it yourself - but a dealer might not charge very much to put it on, depending on how much the markup was on the kit. Hope this is what you were asking about.
