Great solution, and the best part is no extra parts to lose. Well done.

Thanks. Yeah, first I thought just drill a hole and use a pin clip. I know me. I'd lose the pins or forget to install them. I drop my loader a lot.

Very nicely done! Yes, that's what my loader mounting looks like. I just took pictures of the failure today- been waiting for some decent weather. I will definately use your corrective action idea when I get it fixed. Thank you!

OH MY GOD!!!! Did it bend your heavy cast piece that bolts to the tractor???? I thought you meant it bent the loader frame beam!!!! Oh man, that's gonna be hard to fix. Please update your thread with pictures of the fix. That will be challenging for a metal shop. Anxious to see how they do it. Very sorry for your dilemna.....

Yes, it's bent about 10-15 degrees. Not sure if it's a casting or a forging but either way, it will be a challenge and I will post the result and how it was done. Thanks again for the elegant corrective action!

ovrszd, very nice write up and fix for this issue. I never really thought it could happen but now I'm going to get some springs and put them on the loader and backhoe pins. Are the springs you bought stainless? I'd hate to have rusty springs on my loader pins.

Agree with all the others Richard a great idea and simple enough maybe even I can do it; OK, I'll have one of my sons do it but still...

Thanks for the compliments guys, but we owe this modification to gullageje, he suffered the pain for our gain.

wmonroe, you must be slightly OCD like me. Nope, I didn't use stainless steel springs, but if mine rust I'll swap them out. Can't have that!!!! ;)

You can paint them with clear Krylon if you don't like the orange look, and the wifey will never know unless you get caught.!:D
