Are all QA's standardized or are they different from make to make? (i.e. would a QA bucket from a JD fit Branson QA)

Will a QA from a Bobcat fit my Branson QA?

I'm here and I've just mounted and experimented with the HarborFreight QuickAttach 3pt hitch.
The unit is solid built and well worht the $70. The width issue (needing the stretch the lower mounts a 1/2" with a jack) hasn't been needed. I have had to pay particular attention to the implement lower pin to top pin dimensions though. What I've been doing with each implement is to make sure the measuremet is the same so as not to have to adjust the top hook on the adapter for each implement. Also the space between the top ears of the implement top bracket needs to be approxiamately 3", the top hook adjustment bracket and mounting bolts get in the way, widthwise. I think the Quick Hitch will be worh it but it does come at a price by having to modify some or all the implements that will be attached. If this does not suit you then look at the Pat's system as I don't think you would have as many issue's with bottom pins to top pin dimensions. That's my review of the HF quickHitch. bjr

As far as I am aware each manufacture has their own standard for the QA. It could be that is not absolutely true, but I believe that it is mostly true. I know that I have seen threads that read "I am making a QA in the JD style or the NH style. So as far as standards for the the QA "every man does that which is right in his own eyes."

The skid steer quick attach is universal. See thread here that includes the SAE specification.

Pin on type quick couplers are tractor specific.

I'd recommend the skid steer style for greater flexibility (though it tends to be more expensive).

Tom, if the Branson QA is the skid steer type QA you can get other skid steer QA attachments to mount right up. You can also purchase Skidsteer QA plates that can be mounted to non-skid steer QA attachments to make the skidsteer compatible.
