Questions on 2020

The alternator is charging, at least has 14 volts on battery terminals at 2000 rpm, but the light stays on. Any Ideas?

Is there any cross over for the screw on hydraulic filter? It has a CAPA 145VL-35. Would like to be able to get it local.

Are you sure it's the charging light, (lightning bolt), or is it the battery electrolite level light, (battery w/wavy line thru it)?

The CAPA 145VL-35 is the OEM filter, I have them in stock.

Norm, You are so right, as usual!!!! I had forgotten about reading that here long ago /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif. I found two wires in the harness out by the battery and tied them together and Presto, light went out. Thanks again.

I guess I should run the symptoms of why I think I need a new filter by the experts here. The power lift makes a squalking noise when you raise it, and its very slow. Sound like stopped up filter to you guys????

Eddie, even with the screw on filter, you still need to take the screen off and clean it. It could be that also. Either way you will probably want to drain it, and when doing one, you should do the other.

Dick, is that the round one down in the transmission?

Its the screen like your 1700 has also. I think all Yanmars have them. Even the Deere I bought now, has the same thing, and needs cleaned. When I get to 50 hours I have to replace the screw on filter and clean the screen, like any other built Yanmar. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

The screen is on the left side, under the brake drum. 2 screws hold the round plate on.
