...assuming it includes two bushings and two pins -- but assuming these things always gets me into trouble. Doesn't exactly say what is included. do I need to buy one or two for each implement?

It is the top, center PIN that needs adaptation -- not the turnbuckle top link. My apologies for the confusion.
I think he needs this adapter for implements with no pin access from the bottom. But two flat straps can be used, instead.
