Unfortunately no. I'm having a clearance issue back where the top-link attaches to the tractor.

After having all of these problems with the harbor freight quick hitch I got disgusted and threw it away. I went the Kubota dealer to see what kind of quick hitches he had. He had just got some new ones in, I was the first person he sold one to.;) Here is a picture of it.

How is it different from the HF one, other than the color?

I bought a 1.5 inch steel shaft and cut it in 2 inch pieces then drilled a 7/8 hole in the center and had enought for all my equipment for $8.00 < Kubota BX2660>

I finally got caught up on projects and had some time today to get back to the Quick Hitch. I think I have it working with my blade. The problem seemed to be that the two plates on the quick hitch where the top hook mounts were spread too far apart. To make matters worse the side plates appeared to be flared slightly, making the problem worse. I took a two pronged approach to solving the problem. I put two washers on either side of my rear blade which opened up the hook channel about 1/8". I also bent the two hook mounting plates in a bit on the quick hitch and took out some of the flare. The top hook now fits better in the channel.

I mounted and dismounted the blade several times and it seems to be working much better. I'm not sure if my top link bushing is still correct. It still has a fair amount of slop in the hook. I'm currently using a Cat2-Cat1 bushing from Tractor Supply (#268446).

Below are some photos to show how things look after my modifications. Thanks again to everyone on this forum for your help.

You will also need a cat 2-cat3 bushing for the qh. When you use a qh it changes everything to cat 3.

I used two bushing (1-2 & 2-3) for each pin on my HF hitch.

Thanks guys, very helpful.
I just purchased a JD Cat 2 quick hitch its a monster, very well built. But I notice that the dog that attaches to one of the lock handles is stuck open. I can
close it by taking off the back plate and beating it with a hammer, but thats no good. Any idea what might be wrong? Is their a bent shaft or pin inside?
Looks like a good bit of work to take it apart.
Any suggestions?
Craig
