Its the same I was just joking. I added the decals to it.How is it different from the HF one, other than the color?

I finally got caught up on projects and had some time today to get back to the Quick Hitch. I think I have it working with my blade. The problem seemed to be that the two plates on the quick hitch where the top hook mounts were spread too far apart. To make matters worse the side plates appeared to be flared slightly, making the problem worse. I took a two pronged approach to solving the problem. I put two washers on either side of my rear blade which opened up the hook channel about 1/8". I also bent the two hook mounting plates in a bit on the quick hitch and took out some of the flare. The top hook now fits better in the channel.
I mounted and dismounted the blade several times and it seems to be working much better. I'm not sure if my top link bushing is still correct. It still has a fair amount of slop in the hook. I'm currently using a Cat2-Cat1 bushing from Tractor Supply (#268446).
Below are some photos to show how things look after my modifications. Thanks again to everyone on this forum for your help.

Thanks guys, very helpful.
I just purchased a JD Cat 2 quick hitch its a monster, very well built. But I notice that the dog that attaches to one of the lock handles is stuck open. I can
close it by taking off the back plate and beating it with a hammer, but thats no good. Any idea what might be wrong? Is their a bent shaft or pin inside?
Looks like a good bit of work to take it apart.
Any suggestions?
Craig
Do you have a picture of it, I don't understand completely what is wrong.
Yes, I understand. Here is a picture of the lower arm of the JD Quick Hitch. The problem is with the "dog" or latch plate does not slid forward to catch or lock the implement on to the quick hitch. The latch seems to be bound or twisted inside the housing. The only way I can get it to function is to beat on it from the back side with a hammer. Once it is in place on the implements lower 3 point hitch arm it will not release, unless by driving it back with a hammer. So I just to check to see if others have similar problems and what was done to correct it.
Thanks,
