I was looking at ASC Agri Supply. They list 3 Cat 1 hitches on their website: #65052A for $109.99 - #65052 for $129.99 - SpeeCo #44713 for $179.99.

Wonder what the difference between the 65052A & 65052 is besides price????? May have to give them a call and ask. Will see if they have any coupons or promo codes while on the phone.

The first two have the extended (horizontally) top hook. I can't tell is the SpeeCo version comes with the extended top hook.

I have the A model, has worked well for me.

Does anyone know if the SpeeCo or Land Pride Quick Hitches #10 or #15 will work with the Heavy Hitch dual offset weight rack?

My concern is whether the top of these hitches will interfere with weights hung on the inside rack bar (closest to the tractor)?

Tim has a different quick hitch, the Harbor Freight. He indicates it's a cheap hitch, which kind of implies it's not a problem for other brands, but that's not quite saying it. I have asked Heavy Hitch on Facebook . . . Thanks.

I heard back from Heavy Hitch, and they said they used the Land Pride QH 10 and 15 when designing. So those tend to work well with their hitch. No guarantee but it sounds like the double weight racks at least stand a good chance of working best with the LP QH.

Got my Heavy Hitch today and love it. Incidentally, the sway bars on my B2601 do prevent getting a full rack of weights on the inside. I hadn't checked into that, so I have some extra weights. I don't think my eventual Quick Hitch will put the Heavy Hitch back far enough to squeeze in extra weights on the inside.

So my angst over whether a Land Pride Quick Hitch or another would get in the way was misplaced. Check out your sub-compact or compact tractor before you assume the double weight rack will work. I am glad to get the 164 lbs back there and can add to the other bar when I need more. FYI.

Can you install the bottom weights to the rear and put the top weights to the front?

No sir, if I understand. The bottom hanger is made for the weights to hang on it extending back toward the tractor. The top hanger is in the way if you try to turn the bottom weights around. On the top hanger, the top weights don't seat all the way down if installed facing back toward the tractor. They rest too much on the bottom weights that way.

Heavy Hitch wt = 63 lbs, and with the four inside weights I have added 227 lbs to the rear. I figure that is a good weight to keep on there and for stuff like scoops of light mulch. If I put a full top rack of the 41 lb weights on too, the total Heavy Hitch weight is 555 lbs. As I have loaded rear tires, I think I am ready for heavy loader, fork, or grapple use.

I have to move the HF QH top hook up and down depending on the location of the top point on each implement. So, I replaced the bolts in the top hook with some pins.

For the back blade, the hook doesn't go low enough; so, I use a QH adapter, a U shapped thing that replaces the hook.

Just have to back up to each implement if I haven't remembered where to place the hook, locate where hook as to go, move it and then connect.

Still gotta connect the PTO for ones that need it, and there's a tad less space if connecting the PTO before putting the implement onto the QH.

All but the Speeco QH need some converters to go from Cat 1 to 3. I bought 2 for each side at TSC: Cat 1 to 2 and Cat 2 to 3. Can move from implement to implement. QH fits just inside the outer pins in the bottom lift pins. Keeps the converters in place, but they slide about a bit.
