No overhead light, switched outlet was the norm in the 70s. At least in tract homes.
Does anybody else make little "P-Touch" labels for multi-gang switch plates?
Was a shock to me also.Just gotta say that this has been a fun topic! Looking at the list I have to say that nobody is hurting anybody. I gotta go now because for the first time in my life I never realized that the outlet/switch cover plate screws are supposed to be vertical. I have about 500 things to look at and fix...on second thought, I'll let the next owner deal with it.
