Cool... thanks for sharing!well, off hand a have these. i make quite a few ice shack wood stoves from 20lb propane tanks, and the guitar is an art piece i made for my uncle as well, its made from 1/8 plate all welded and cut using wood templates

When reading about the radial arm saw it reminded me of someone I know that put a 12 volt power window motor on his just to move the saw back and forth. Maybe just a little lazy. He also mounted one on his table saw to turn the wheel handle to tilt the saw to 45 degrees and back. I thought that might be useful. I plan to use a power window motor to raise and lower the table on my drill press.

How do you guys manage to use wood templates without burning them? Do you just trace them and then freehand follow the lines?
When I've tried, I either burn the template or my cut is too inconsistent for my liking, especially when trying to make matching parts.
You made that look easy...the cutting part. Perhaps I just need to learn how to use my plasma cutter better. I was also using plywood, don't know if that made the difference or not.
