Wow, That's a huge space! You guys got a lot done in 7 or so weeks. Did you come in at your material budget?

Yes, we did a lot in the time period we had. I was on vacation the whole time though so I had every day to work on it. (except Sundays,rain and windy days)
I wish we could have stayed in the budget we had. I was thinking 15-17 grand without doors. So far we are about 21 grand.

I still have not decided on what kind of doors I want. I like the idea of regular roll up house style doors for the fact I would be done working on it. But the barn style sliding doors make it look like a "barn". I would like that for the curb appeal, but then I would be building them. I'll post pictures of what ever I decide.
So here are two pictures of where I started and where I am now.

You sure dido a nice job. Looks really good. Where did you locate the the translucent panels? All I have seen are for corrugated metal.

Thanks farmer;
The translucent panels run the full length of the barn on the east and west sides. Here are the pictures.

The east is 14" high and the west is 30" high. I think it will let plenty of light in, even on cloudy days.
The last picture is inside just before sunset. Still plenty of light I think.

Sorry for the wording. They sure do let in a lot of light. Where did you source/purchase the translucent panels?

I still do not have the trim yet but have started moving all the firewood into the barn. Lots of work but glad I have a big bucket on the tractor.

Supposed to rain Thursday so I hope I can get all the wood moved in and get the rest of the trim up.

Not sure I posted a picture of how I moved the trusses in place. Since the weight of each one is about 400 pounds trying to carry them in was not much of an option. Maybe when I was 25 it would have been.:laughing:
Here is my only pictures of how it was done.
