Ready to buy, I think????

I just purchased a B7500, 302 FEL and a Woods 7500 BH with subframe last Friday. Used it saturday and was amazed at the power the BH has. You do loose some ground clearence with the subframe. I was working in the woods all day and had to be be careful of stumps and humps. Also, you will find that the hoe protruds a good bit in the rear. I found that out when loading it on the trailer and the BH was dragging in the ground when the front wheels went up on the ramps. Also, it hinders crossing ditches and uneven ground (humps and bumps). Overall though I am very happy with this setup. I did get the R4 tires. Just my experiences.

FYI, I went out and measured my woods subframe ground clearence. 7.5 inches. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Good Discussion. I am trying to decide between a BX and a B7500 or maybe a Deere 2210. I would like a backhoe but don't think I can justify the added cost. The BX and 2210 are better mowers but i'd like the bigger unit in the B7500. Maybe I should keep my JD318 for mowing.

I'm already looking for the delivery and there isn't a date yet. The tractor and all options are ready this week except for the Woods BH; it isn't in until next week. Since the delivery is a few hours away I am going to wait for the BH to be installed.

I did not buy the sub-frame BH because of the clearence and additional length. I also did not take the indpendent pump on the BH. There seems to plenty of pressure to run the fel with the tractor pump so that should be fine for the BH; can't run them both at the same time. If the dealer is wrong he will add the pump later. That kept the BH price to $4500.

With all the options the price for the 7500HST was about $2350 over the BX22. The options I added were R4's, 302 FEL w/ reinforcment and 3 hooks, tooth bar, 4 way valve, woods 6500 w/ 12" bucket & hook and Kubota B4681 support kit, HD alt, working light on ROP, delivered ("on the ground" and with as many hours of instruction as needed) to my house about 100 miles from the dealer, 50 hour service on site at my house (I pay for fluids & filters). I was quoted on a BX with same fel setup, hd alt, 4 way valve. I just think the 7500 will work better and the difference was not as much as I thought it would be. The 0% made the decision easier.
