Re: New Canopy light setup 6

I live now on a side road off of a side road - maybe 2 cars a day. My old house was in the next village on a blind curve with lots of traffic. My neighbor had an old tractor - Ford or Fergeson I think - and would clear snow with the small FEL on it. Idiots would invariably see him in plain sight and either speed up or try to squeeze into the smallest possible opening./w3tcompact/icons/shocked.gif 'Neighbor was a good guy but I sure don't miss the idiots.

Re: New Canopy light setup 6

We had a yuffy woman REALLY plant her Jeep the other night. Very impressive! Glad to say Clementine was safely in the garage when she roared up the road. /w3tcompact/icons/crazy.gif

Thanks for the pics, Andy. Did you find one type or brand of light worked better than others...or are they all pretty much the same?

I like the switch idea! Never would have thought of that myself. /w3tcompact/icons/shocked.gif I'm thinking two facing forward mounted on the inside edge of the upper ROPS (though having them -- and any summer bugs they attract --outside would put them away from my head!), and a pair facing aft just below them. I'll have to try a few positions and see how it goes.

Re: New Canopy light setup 6

These were generic implement/ag lights that I got from my local dealer. IMHO I think they are a much better choice then fog lamps or other auto lights. I'll take a look to see if I still have the packaging so I can tell you what make.

Re: New Canopy light setup 6

The lights were made by the A.W.Speaker corp, under the Agri-Brite trade name. I couldn't find a website for them but came across just the thing/w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif for Mark's EF-5 http://www.cheesylights.com/battery1.html
