That was entretaining, it says Grand Rapids or Detroit Michigan and Spokane Washington... The only one I have been to was a plane change in Detroit...
It also shows me as talking similar to NY for the area West of Syracuse (which is close).

Interesting. The 3 cities it listed as most similar for me were Louisville and Lexington KY and the Augusta GA/Richmond VA area. I live an hour west of Louisville to I guess it may have some merit.

Whew, it's very accurate! All of America is blue to me! Lived in Japan over 30 years and speak Japanese. Reckon I still walk to the drum beating in me old haid.

Pretty neat. I like the "I have no word for this". I had no word for grass between sidewalk and street. Thanks for sharing.

Me neither... but it pretty much nailed me. It predicted Tacoma, WA and that is about 30 miles away from me!

I am pretty close to Little Rock, even though I actually live in SW Missouri, but I have spend the last 13 years in the presence of Arkies.. so some of it has to rub off:thumbsup:

Same here I think they need to update their northern ohio speak to get a better more accurate model BUT I have to say there were many questions could have had several answers too.

it actually asked me like a dozen extra questions (ok maybe 5 or 6 re-asks or new ones) but still had me from area 500 miles west or so...

BUT then again most Ohio folk have very little "accent" so people always ask where I'm from (when I was out west and down south.)

I have lived a lot of places but I would not have thought my most likely locations would end up more than 1000 miles from anywhere I have ever lived. Two of them I have never even been in or around. The other I drove through once 20 years ago for 15 minutes or so.

That place you drove through must have made a big impression on you!

Got it, picked me for Jackson MS. That ain't right BUT all my people are from MS and I was born and raised in the Mississippi River delta region of Arkansas so it was close!

We did this as a family over Christmas and it pretty much nailed the Virginia, North Carolina and New Hampshire family members taking it. It was fascinating and a lot of laughs. We have a couple of Californians coming today, so will test them.

Mostly southeastern US...most similar cities were Montgomery, AL; Columbus, GA; and Baltimore, MD. I was born and raised in Baltimore, BTW

I was born and raised in the backwoods hills of Missouri...this showed I was from a LARGE swath of the mid-south.

I have heard them say you can take Billy out of the hills but can never get the hill out of Billy..

OH GAWD, you no what this means? Me and Turtleman must be distant kuzins...yikes!!

pegged both the wife and I for Minneapolis area, while the state of ND was deep red colored, too. guess their mapping probably didn't include the northern region of ND, so the nearest "city" was Minneapolis. might appear close on a national map, but is a world away regarding most other perspectives (and that, imho, is a really good thing!).

Hmmmm - it said I live in western USA. Specifically, Spokane, WA. Can't be right all the time. I actually live 25 miles SW of Spokane, ha,ha.
