Rent or buy a chipper-- I need to decide soon

Nice to see the spammer pitch man again ... not. Q- where are you? You are not in China quoting Ronald Reagan in your signature: "Man is not free unless government is limited." You would be instead strung up by your appendages.

I recommend never buying anything Nova Tractor-- their stuff is cheap made crap and is way overpriced. My brother-in-law's second cousins best friend had a hand chopped off by a tractor product-- it might have been a Nova. Can you try selling condoms instead? :D

Our company have produced nearly 10000 units different tractor implements in the past 10 years, I don't think you bought any of them. Strange, why are you so mad at me? Just because I m from China?

I bought the chinese knockoff of the woodmaster bx42.

Those chinese knockoffs regularly appear at the local monthly auction yard, and they try really, really hard to convince you it is a Wallenstein BX42 when instead it is a Shanghai BX42 (or whatever its called this week.)

I'm reading up on the Woodland Mills unit-- seems like a lot of folks are satisfied with it, and it would fit well with my tractor. Ugh I would need to find space in the barn to park it.

Jack Yuan, don't play the race card. You already did that, remember?

I bought the chinese knockoff of the woodmaster bx42. This isn't big enough for what you need by any means, and it's gravity feed, but man I love having my own chipper! just go ahead and buy one, you WILL get enough use out of it (based on your description) to merit it. Plus you'll have plenty of mulch composting and ready when needed

I know there are more than 50 different factories produce the chipper BX42, I don't know where the one from woodmaster.

As a sales guy or as a manufacturer, I always try to promote what we produce. If you consider it's spam, well, that's it, you have right to say what you want to say.

I always support aftersale service to what I sold, not like many other manufacturers here, sold and not be responsible for what they sold.

If you have business related to import from China, you will know what I mean. Average profit of Chinese export company is less than 3%, that's why they cannot supply after sale service. But many of the US importer only told their royal customer the excuse that Chinese manufacturer doesn't supply spare parts. At this point, I really doesn't like this excuse.

If you have 50 factories producing a BX42 chipper, how many of them are paying license fees to Wallenstein to use their design? Or is such production based on stolen designs?

So-- here is your chance to step up. How many Chinese factories are paying Wallenstein a license fee to use their design? And product name, BX42?

I mean, there were nearly 10 factories copy BX42 chipper 8 years ago, now there are more than 50 factories are doing so here. China is a country not respect patent. I don't sell BX42 which knockoff from Wallenstein.

By the way, I completely design my wood chippers, I m suffering by this trouble too, competitors copy my design easily, who pay me license fee???

Have never used a chipper, but I am guessing anything 4" diameter or larger will get kept and split for firewood.

do some serious internet searching, I'm 99% sure any model you find that starts with 'BX--' is going to be a chinese knockoff of the wallentstein. I bought the BX42S from titan that's good up to 4" with over 30 PTO HP....but on my little tractor, I can get 3" through it, although like you, anything that size or bigger is cut up for firewood anyway, so it's a moot point.

as has already been said, these are basically all the same 'clone' with a different sticker/label on it. I'm not dissatisfied or disappointed in this one AT ALL, and there are versions out there with the different feed options. Seems we have a novatractor salesman here, all fine and good, but look at some of the other ones too. One thing about buying the Titan, is I got a nickel credit for every dollar spent, and when I bought my chipper, I instantly had more than enough 'credits' to have them ship me a 3 pack of bolt on hooks to put on my FEL..... ;) I think they have the bx62 as well as the model I bought.

good luck! I'm in the 'buy don't rent' crowd, you'll get your use out of it!

I meant to say wallenstein, not woodmaster, my mistake.
