Replacement Directional Control Valve

If the recommended torque is 32 ft lbs, I think I would tighten them to 32 ft lbs.

If the pressure causes the o-rings to extrude, you will need new o-rings in between the stacks.

Ok, this weekend the major work began. Since all the hydraulic fluid was drained I started by changing the filter. 2013-09-22 15.12.57.jpg.
I then mounted the valve. 2013-09-22 09.34.56.jpg
Finally I started the task of plumbing. 2013-09-22 11.08.24.jpg2013-09-22 17.29.34.jpg2013-09-23 09.09.18.jpg
The most difficult part so far, was routing the one inch hose.
All that remains now, is installing a PB conversion plug, and a JIC 14 connector, both which were on back order.
Looking forward to finally completing my project.

Not much got done last weekend. My JIC14 er, not really a JIC14, but a SAE14 ORB to JIC16 arrived. I just screwed it in and attached the hose.
Here is where the connector went on the loader valve. 2013-09-28 07.32.18.jpg

I then made the final hose connection.2013-09-29 18.27.31.jpg

All that remains now is to install the PB conversion plug.

Still waiting on that. :irked:
