Ridged Insulation under a steel roof?

I don't see the problem with putting metal roof in direct contact with rigid insolation. For condensation to form,warm moisture laden air must come in contact with cool metal. If metal is in contact with insulation leaving no air space,how does warm air find it's way to come in contact with metal? Insulated metal doors (home entry and garage) use rigid insulation contacting metal.

Only issue I see with metal roofing on top of 2" styrofoam is, the need for 3" screws, dont think they have them for corrugated roofing..
