mf 135
My mf 135 finally blew a rim.question is can a good welder cut out my old hoops and weld them in a new rim.my rim measures 12inches outside lip to outside lip so i guess its a 12x28.or anyone have a good source for a replacement? By hoops i mean power adjustable rims

Good welders do that every day but cost can be near the same as new adjustable wheels. OE type wheels are obsolete and good used cost up to 3x what later model wheels cost. Collectors pay premium. Ebay,Amazon and Yesterdy's Tractors sell later model adjustables.
If you go with new blank wheels and move hoops, askwelder how much you can save by grinding old loops 90% out for him. Also don't overlook used wheels from different brand tractors. Many brands interchange. If the problem is rusted out stem hole,a patch can be welded in then new hole drilled.
