Not what I said and corrosion don't impact the bolsters at all. In fact the already erected ones are rusted as well.

Corrosion is a surface condition that don't impact the structural soundness of the bolsters at all.

I said that the Texas AG had a million bucks available and would 'BID' on the auctions to secure and keep the sections. I never said he would pay a million bucks for them. I believe his intent is to outbid everyone else but still retain them at a low price.

I believe the Texas DOT inspections will have a far greater impact actually. From what I see, the trucks hauling them away appear to have many DOT violations.

I do find it interesting that Biden can authorize the sale / auction of them when they don't belong to him in the first place, they belong to the taxpayers but then he pulls some shots and gets away with it, well, until 1-20 that is.

Save the Wall. You can't secure a border without a line. That line being a wall has historically proven to be the best option. If it takes 1k men on horseback I'm sure we can muster them. Stop the insanity. Secure the Border.

Not likely. Unless they stack border patrol in the wilderness on horses. 2000 miles is a lot of ground to cover. People should come and see the southwest. There’s not much between cities and they are a long ways apart. Also few or no roads in many places .

A border wall establishes a basic barrier that slows down all those pesky illegal vandals. While they are busy clicking on 20V batteries in the middle of nowhere on their sawzalls, it slows them down some so border patrol can turn them around.

No barrier at all won't slow them down. The Rio Grande also slows them down in some parts of the border.

The more obstacles put in their way, the more time it buys the good guys to come and turn them around.
Walls also serve as a mounting point for surveillance equipment and sensors.
None of us have to live in the area to have a basic understanding of how walls and border patrols work.

Read the links supplied. The Republicans authorized the bill to get rid of the stuff. The border states took the materials that they wanted. The stuff those border states and border patrol determined they DID NOT WANT were offered for sale.

Read the links supplied. The Republicans authorized the bill to get rid of the stuff. The border states took the materials that they wanted. The stuff those border states and border patrol determined they DID NOT WANT were offered for sale.
