Interesting. I always knew about the Mesabi Range iron mines, but didn't know about the Gunflint Range. Now I'm curious about where gun flints come from. It must be interesting to live somewhere that you can pick flints up off the ground. We have to use a fire drill here in the PNW.

I went to cut it in half today and it had moved. There is a strange looking tiny antenna sticking out near one end and you can hear faint intermittent beeping sounds..... and once and awhile you hear a grinding noise...... ????????????????????

Actually, I am nursing a crack rib/tore chest muscles from coughing to hard whilst I was filling my wood pile, instead of doctoring myself for sinus problems/catching a cold. So, rock is on back burner.... as long as it does not fly away by itself.... or teleport Trying 24/7 not to cough any more than I have to, and heaven forbid, sneeze... like I did last evening... worse than a cough by far
