ROPS

I got my BX22 back from the dealer yesterday. I had it in for the 50 hour inspection & some warranty work. It had been a while, so the grass really needed attention. I couldn't wait to get started, so I took off the BH & FEL & struck out. The ROPS was fully extended, something I haven't done since I got it - - I have too many trees with low branches. Well I decided to leave it up & even wear the seatbelt for the first time. The ROPS was a problem in the up position - - I don't think I'll ever be able to leave it up to mow.
The ROPS provided one more problem - - when I stopped to take a break, for some reason I looked up & this is what I saw. I knew I went through a fairly substantial spider web, but never dreamed he'd hitched a ride.

I've heard that in SE Louisiana they cook them and call it a delacacy....... LOL .... sure would have gotten me off that tractor fast......

I hate spiders. I would of set a new record for getting off the tractor then I would have took care of the little pest. He would not hitch a ride with anyone else.
Speaking of ROPS, I have noticed that on the B7500 that some of them have adjustable ROPS and some don't. Do you have to order these special or something?

Probably will have to start naming mine the same way /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif.

I know they eat bugs and help out in that way, but I sure don't like spiders. They just creep me out... Understand there are about 10,000 per acre, on average. And they all like to come for an up close and personal visit...
