Not sure how it happened. I néed to talk to seller more.
Good call on checking mounts. I was only thinking about lower frame.
Owner did say it's driveable and put a few hours on it since it happened.
I can weld up the ROPS no problem and probably live with a quick fix to plastic to save a buck and stay in my price range for a tractor. I'm mostly hesitant about known transmission/stopping issues that will be hard to determine if I don't go look at it myself.
I'd feel better about it since it drives. I'd assume that the wheels don't wobble but I'd ask. I'd ask for a video walk around of it. I'd definitely want a heck of a deal to even consider it. Why isn't the seller fixing it?
Maybe you should expand your search. It is possible that a smaller tractor is more useful to you but you can get various compact tractors with loaders and 400 hours on he clock, like an LS or a Kioti (good tractors) in the 30 + HP range for $15k or less - I saw an LS G3038 for $12k in LA. I had a B21 and really loved that tractor but when I sold it to the buyer of my ranch for what I paid for it seven years before, I was not prepared to pay $10k more for a B26 with twelve fewer horses and three fewer implements. I LOVE Kubotas but you know, if it's orange, bring green.
Apparently the owner did not have KATC insurance. That is the kind of stuff they fix.

He said he could easily sell it for $12k with the $800 in parts dealer said it would take to fix it.
