round baler for small cattle operation

Springs just around the corner and the haying will soon begin... Looking to get a round baler to buy and wanting/needing advice about what kind to get...
I passed up what seemed to be a decent deal on a Vermeer last fall because it was a 1000 pto and my tractor at that time wasn't compatable. I now got a 85 Hp with 540/1000 pto. Any + or- on 540 vs 1000?.
The dealers local are jd, nh, mf, Vermeer.. Don't want an off brand and only bale less than 100 bales a year so don't really wanna drop big bucks...

I just talked to my Son that runs the store at Munfordville, Ky and he said he was going to ask $2750 for the New Holland 846 round baler with manual tie. This baler has just came in and It will be ready in a couple weeks. That store phone # is 270-524-0385. Ken Sweet
