Rounded off drain plug

I put some Kroil on a part that was hopelessly rusted stuck but it wouldn't budge so l forgot about it. On a lark l checked a month later and it came apart easily. So, even when Kroil won't work, it's still working.

Kroil is expensive stuff....there is nothing quite like it (except maybe 50/50 ATF & Acetone or laquer thinner).
Kroil, in my opinion, is definitely worth it's high cost!

Purty......If it was trailered over to a shop and got it back in the spring should be good for another hunnert posts on how yah shouldah towed it, trailered it, and then nuther hunnert posts on the welder shoot fire we could bust a new record.......say wasn't there a rumor about new toaster or oil plug for the 1,000 post??? :cool2::drink:

I put a set of Knipex in my cart on Amazon.. then removed them.. already spend too much on Amazon so will wait for another day.

What is my life coming to? Everyday I have to check and see if the drain plug is out. And later will ask, how he got it out. And will be people that say, this way must have broke it loose.

I wonder if he could just take a torch and cut out a 4 inch circle, drain the oil, and then weld it back in. He could even take a rag and wipe out the bottom of the pan.

Don't think that will work on his cast iron transmission :thumbdown:.
