OR, he could just get a good pipe wrench and remove the drain plug,.. wonder why no-one thought of that!

I have two good ones. I would give him my old cheap ones that I got before I could afford good tools.

Actually 57 from this point. But I’m pretty sure that’s happening regardless from this point.

No less than the one about battery chargers.

Maybe if you hooked a trickle charger on the plug the electric current would loosen the plug. Or you could weld the plug and pretend it wasn’t supposed to be there. Being serious now I’d probably vacuum the oil out and forget about removing it since this is probably the last time it’ll need changed.

Why would it be the last time i change it?

How often do you plan on changing it? Most vehicle rear ends never get the oil changed and transmissions especially a manual don’t get much more care.
