I built mine,I purchased a TSC cultivator and added the 16 inch disc from Agri-supply;a little scrap steel.Mine bolts on,it can be removed to use just the cultivator. To answer the question wat a hiller is;it forms the rows for a garden(raised bed).

Post number 9, in this thread............that's all you need.

I'm trying to be careful where I post, don't want to step on Ken.

Cultivator is from TSC, disc hilliers can be obtained here: http://www.agrisupply.com/category....E_c_A_sb_E_0_A_action_E_showall_A_c_E_4500013

Don, did you get your discs turned around? If you have, let us know how it works compared to before. I have a cultivator similar to yours and I like the way you can hill and plow out your tracks at the same time, with my hiller, I leave about half of my track on each side and I have to knock that out with my BCS.

I'm in the middle of putting one together too. I'm wondering why you'd want to break up the tire tracks (not knowing much about gardening), seems like it would grow less weeds there if it was compacted in the tracks..

I have found it is better to pull up the weeds rather than just run over them. One thing I forgot to say is:I also added peanut sweeps to my cultivator..just adds a little more area. Also from AGRI Supply, note some welding required.
Check out www.bayougardener.com,lots of good info on gardening.
