I built my first septic tank using 8X16 cement block
and that's over 35 years ago still working and no
problems and never pumped it either as solids dissolve thay's why we use yeast!

By definition you built a cesspool!
Septic tanks are sealed and have no leakage.

Are you telling me that septic tanks don't use
a drain field?
You can buy cement septic tanks and they use
a drain field. A perk test is preformed before you
build a septic system!
Fried 1765 you live in the city??
If you live in the county must have one hell of a
pumping bill for pumping out your sealed septic
tank!
You can say anything you like but my system works!

In post #61 I said ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about septic tanks not requiring a drain field!
I have no guess as to how you came up with that conclusion.
I am a former Civil engineer!
I think I know just a little bit about how septic systems are designed, installed, and how they work.
All septic tanks SHOULD be sealed, and should not leak, as I described above!
Liquid effluent is then discharged from the septic tank, (frequently by gravity) through a distribution box, and out to a drain field!
I have personally lived with a cesspool (now generally illegal), or a septic system, since 1940!
