Toro Dingo 320 D
I have just acquired the front and business of a snowblower. It is 32 inches wide with 16 inch blade and a 12 inch second stage.
I want to quick attach it to the front of my Toro dingo 320 D.I haven't decided whether to mount a gas engine or run it hydraulically.the second stage is running approximately 11 to 1 ratio with for stage. My two questions are........

if I use a gas engine what is the minimum size engine I should use and how many RPM's should that input shaft of the snow blower be turning?

if I use a hydraulic drive motor what size of motor should I have, my machine put so 12 gallons per minute, again what RPM should the input shaft of the snow blower be turning at?

I am located in Calgary Alberta and we never know how much snow we're going to get sometimes it's wet sometimes it's dry. Thank you for any and all help!

Can you match it size wise with a commercial powered walk behind? The specs should be published regarding horse power, rpm's etc. What powered the parts you now have? You shouldn't have to re-invent the wheel, power wise. Mating it up to your Dingo is another story. Giving advice on a snowblower from 17 degrees N. of the Equator is something I couldn't resist.
