The hummer's have arrived here in mid-Georgia!
We have six feeders and have seen up to 11 hummingbirds at once around the three out the kitchen door:

Well shucks, looks like if they are in OK., then they flew right over us.
Guess I'll take our feeders down.
Thanks for the post.
Gee folks, I thought just about everyone would some rubies summering at your location. Just because we don't see them, doesn't mean there not in your neck of the woods. Seems I read somewhere that the females don't like to go to feeders while nesting.
May be true just a novice trying to learn all that I can. Had my heart on having them for company. They normally fly into the shop where the tractor is parked. My first clue of them telling me hey we back where da grub...!!...lol....
Well on top of that our 14 year old Yorkie passed away this morning from heart failure. Never had a dog that long she really bore a hole in my heart. Never been at this stage before so hope to get pass this soon.
The cardinals, mocking birds and blue jays flying around me scarfing up june bugs help.......
I think even my neighbor's horses felt my pain. I was sitting on a stump under an oak and they came up to the fence and kept me company until I was out of tears.....
Guess Yeshua created animals a bit smarter then we give them credit for....
anyways thanks for letting me get this off my chest....
You folks have great evening..
