Don't have a .45; guess I could have used one of my .38s, but then I'd have had to clean the gun and that takes longer than putting the drill away. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Shoot at the bottom at a angle and you get holes in the sides to. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif )</font>
I like you way of thinking /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
The way I cut my drain holes and air holes in the drums I take my 3 phase 700 Amp welder and some old maoldy rusty rods usually 6011's and set the welder on the highest setting. and go at it. Its like a poor mans plasma gun. I had a friend have me cut the bottom out of his barrels and mount some stands to hold it onto an old concrete patio. Hese got an old gas water heater coil inside that he runs through it. He had me tack another section of barrel to the tpo of that and it makes heck of a drafted fire. He uses it to heat a greenhouse in the winter and burns stuff in it all the time. It saves on the heat bill and saves dumpster space. I have alot of customers in the spring time call me to come with the backhoe or excavator and dig a narrow trench to get rid of the crap left by folks on their rural property.
