NOt alway a good process..... When settling my mother trusts I got cashiers check from her bank and closed out her account, I had sons bank account numbers and I went to deposit the check in his bank, his account.... First thing teller said to me was "not much money in that account" (sons account) ... What!!!!, trying to put money into that account.... Had to wait for some sub manager moron come and approve and instruct teller to do transaction, in meantime I had to explain to security guard why I was standing near the wall like criminal scoping out the place to rob it that I was waiting for management type to help with transaction......In all the years I have been banking, I have never had a transaction go easy/correct with that particular bank entity (not my bank!).... With all the apps and bank capabilities, I only deal with virtual/digital monies managed by my personal bank for large mounts.......Cashiers Check
Sounds like you're talking from experienceAll they need to do is get a bundle of fresh $1 bills, and tumble your funny money with it in the drier, with some poker chips. The funny money comes out a little worn looking and the ink transfers, so the marker test shows the ink is correct.
A friend explained why Secret Service were concerned with people getting lots of new bills.Sounds like you're talking from experience![]()
An aside to this;
Crooks have devised a counterfeit $100 bill that will pass the marker test. Google it.
