Chipper Salsco Chipper

I was checking out some chippers and the Salsco 824 looks like a quality unit, anyone here have one?
The DR unit looks to be light duty compared to this one, and the Chinese chipper is too heavy for my tractor, plus there's a whole thread on keeping it together. What kind of price is the Salsco?

I've got an 824, and I'm quite sure it's too big and heavy for your BX2200. I use mine on a B2910 and it's right on the hairy edge of being too heavy. I had to tweek up the lift pressure on my 3PH to lift the 824, and it's still a struggle to lift it. Even once it's lifted, it's a lot of weight with a pretty high center of gravity. The result is a tractor that can get un-nerving on uneven ground. There's no way I'd want to use it on a smaller/lighter tractor - I just don't think it would be stable at all.

Before the 824 I had a Patu DC 40 that was much lighter and I think would be fine on the BX2200. The Patu is a 4" manual feed model. I don't think you'll be able to find a power feed model that will fit the BX.
