The neighbor behind us owns a 35Hp, 4-wheel drive SAME. It might be water cooled - I can't remember. It is at least 15 years old and he bought it new. The only complaints he mentioned was that his dry brake discs glazed, and he had some problems getting metric replacement tires. Other than that, it has served him well. He owns 23 wooded acres and he is constantly tending to downed trees and rotary cutting around obstacles. He runs it very hard! It resembles a Yanmar in that the parts are cast and well finished. I'm not sure how the newer ones are made. I've personally had good luck with products made in Italy.
