Your logic is correct about the scope. You can ALWAYS find a scope, accessories, etc. But, you can't always find the pistol you want!

Apparently you're correct on even "ordinary" guns with todays "climate".

I would of let the handgun purchase slide if I wouldn't have noticed how many places have that .357 on backorder online, and my buddy told me how his distributor had most, if not all Rugers on backorder.

I despise the fact that I had to make a purchase based on fear on the possibility of not having the chance to buy a gun I would like to own in the future.
