SCUT: Massey / Iseki vs. Kubota / Kubota

I chose my MF GC2400 over the comparable JD and Kubota models because the operator platform fit me better. Felt squeezed on the other machines.

That is really so much of it with these machines....I think that they are so close together that you should get the one that fits you best.

Now that Kubota put the brake on the left for the BX25D, it's really a toss-up.

Thanks for this info, was not aware of this recent change.

Right now the 2 things that are competing in my mind are the BX slow hydraulics vs. the Iseki name which is unknown to me and a very slow mover on this forum compared to Kubotas. The BX is just mor popular.

I guess in reality I would get over the slow hydraulics at idle because that would be a very minute amount of the time of tractors uses......

I have a dealer that sells MF and Kubota a one hour drive away and he has one of each in stock.....hoping to get there soon and park them side by side...

The Iseki engine was a big factor for me going with MF , Iseki has been around a long time.
Bolens was using there engines for many years and I am a big fan of bolens (before Bolens sold out).

That is a very cool video, so many people underestimate these little machines....I know with mine I am amazed what it will do.

I really think people look at the specs and think that is it, but you have to remember the world we live in now....the I will sue you world. Lawyers are doing the specs not the guys that make the machine anymore.

This is a cool video and thanks. I would say a little risky move by lifting something that heavy on the edge of that hole, worried I might slide in. Still looks like a powerful little tractor!

That is the cool thing I am finding out about the little machines.....they really can do so much more then you ever thought they could do. After looking at a bunch of tractors, it seems the value per dollar is greatest with these little tractors. You move up and yes it can do more but then the cost is so much more. Does the added ability equal the added cost...to some with specific jobs to do yes. But so far in my very limited experience this sized machine has exceeded my expectations every time I start it up.
