When I search using the google bar, I get lots of results but the age of results is often several years old. Yes it may be content relevance, but I wish there was a way to search a range of dates or at least have it return them in date order. Admins, what is the reason for disabling advanced search features on TBN? Is there a chance it could be restored? I feel your risking more redundant posts by not allowing quick accurate searches within the forum software.

You can still use the forum search by clicking on search in the navigation bar.
I do use the forum search when I can. I have been a member for a while and remember the searches being much more useful. Muhammad, I think unless I am missing something, there is still no way to do a simple search for things like "Woods RD8400". Doing the search in "titles only" returns hundreds of results with woods but no RD8400. There are no threads with RD8400 and only 4 with PRD8400. It still appears that searches are an "OR" only. It would also be nice to have "contains/exact" as an option so searching for RD8400 would return PRD8400 if you chose contains.
