My dad bought Sears Radial tires when they first came out. Sears had them before most tire stores in our area and people used to roll down their windows at intersections and tell us our tires were low on air. I think they only had 24 psi in the early tires.
I mainly ordered studded snow tires and I can honestly say I've never worn one out. They normally age out or get weather-checked.

In my case that is exactly what happened... it was also my first credit card.
When the new combined Sear/Mastercard came I put it in the drawer...
A few months later I was appliance shopping and called in to activate the card... spoke to a person and said I was good to go.
The next day I had picked out new floor model Range, Refrigerator and Dishwasher... went to write it up and my card was declined... how could this be?
Clerk called in and said it was not active and I said yes it is... nothing he could do... but I could apply for a new one... this was 2009
I said why bother since the one I held was good last night?
That was last of my shopping except garden hoses and detergent.
Also am a charter lifetime member of the Sears Craftsman Club... but have not heard anything about it for years... use to send a catalog each year with a monthly discount coupon...

Many times over the years my wife and I have gone into a store like Sears, Penny's, Ayers, Hudson's, etc... only to find our card has expired because it had been so long since we used it. But if we sign up today, we get an additional 20% off on top of whatever coupon/discount we were in there for at the time. So we'd sign up again, get the additional discount, go home and toss it in the drawer again.
